Baby Appointment and Oklahoma!

I went in for my second appointment and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat for just a couple seconds. Then the baby rolled over and we couldn't find it again. I lost ten pounds from being so sick with morning sickness which was a little worry but nothing that will last forever. I will start to feel better in a couple weeks. They drew blood for the labs as well. I am very blessed that needles don't bother me in the least and I don't mind seeing blood. And I am so very glad for a midwife with this second one. She knows I am tough and expects me to be so. And it is nice to have a midwife instead of a doctor who told me that he didn't think I could go natural and that I would want a epidural in the end. Which I didn't. Who knows what will happen with this one but at least I have a little more support and experience this time around. Time is flying with this one. I can't believe I am 11 weeks along and soon will be headed to the 2nd trimester.
And now...for our story of Oklahoma! Katie, Jonathan, Autumn and I traveled through Kansas down to Oklahoma for a Outfitting show in Tulsa. We set up the booth which I think Jonathan did a very good job with. There were not very many people who came. But we got to do some fun things anyways. We went to the Olive Garden, and we got in room dining (which is what the picture of Katie and Jonathan are) We had never had room service like that so we had to take pictures :) The last night we were there we ended up going to a hockey game which was very fun as none of us had ever been to one before. Then on monday we went to the stockshow in Denver. The rodeo was good. And then after that we went to Casa Bonitas. THEN, last night after Casa Bonitas, we drove home. Whew! It was quite the vacation. But I have a feeling it won't be nothing compared to our trip coming up in Pennsylvania.
