More Pictures

Autumn stretching out on her bouncer. She is now 9lbs 10 0z. We are losing our internet tomorrow so we wanted to put up more pictures. Plus we are finally making the BIG MOVE to Colorado because Jonathan is graduating on the 19th FINALLY! We are excited! And Autumn is being blessed on the 20th here in Rexburg. We will see if we can get those pictures up on the blog soon after that event.

Teachin them Young

Teaching her young to LOVE hunting!! This is by far her favorite magazine by now :) Daddy is already excited to take her hunting and fishing when she grows up. Who says you can't teach them when they are just weeks old?!
Do the days seem to go by quicker once you have a child? It seems that way to me. I can't believe Autumn is two weeks old today and still the sweetest little thing. When we went in to the lactation consultant this last wednesday she weighed 9lbs 5 oz and is 22 inches long! So she is definately a big baby and I can't believe I gave birth to her! :) But she is healthy and thats all that matters. Jonathan is such a good daddy too. He takes her at night once I am done feeding her and puts her to sleep. The funny thing is, they sleep on the floor! He is teaching her "the ways of being a mountain man" early!!!! For those who don't know Jonathan, he has slept on the floor since before his mission. He complains whenever I make him sleep on the bed every once in a while, but his true bed is the nice straight hard floor with one blanket and pillow. I find it cute.

Happy Baby Girl.

I couldn't help but put one more picture of Autumn on the blog today. She is just so darn cute! Here she is chillin on a new tie quilt I made. She looks happy.

Moments

So cute in her little pink gown. She has gained back all of her birth weight and is still the piggiest eater. Its funny because she likes to grunt and snort all the time just like a pig. We love her so much!!! And we can't believe how time is flying.

The vacum is her new best friend. After a long night and no sleep, Brittani turned on the vacum in a attempt to get Autumn to sleep. It worked only until she turned the vacum off! :) Oh well.

The Story of Autumn Jacqueline Bush

Im going to add some detail to the pictures Jonathan updated.

We went in to my appointment on thursday and I was already 5cm. So they said come on in tomorrow and we will induce you. So on Friday morning on November 20th, we went in at 7:30 to the hospital. I was 6cm by then. They broke my water and started some pitocin. An hour later I was in hard labor and at 12:57 after 40min of pushing our baby girl was born. It was a very short labor but seemed very long to me because we decided to go all natural and without any pain relief. But Jonathan and my mother were excellent coaches and got me through it. As soon as they put our daughter on my chest it was all worth it. And Jonathan is such a proud daddy.

She weighed 8lbs 15oz and was 21 inches long! Jonathan and I were in shock at how chubby she was because the doctors told us that she would be kind of a small baby. So we were very pleased that she is so healthy. We think she is a little oinker when it comes to eating. Just like her papa :) We couldn't have asked for a more healthy pregnancy, wonderful birth, and beautiful daughter.

Baby Autumn before she got here.

Brittani's last dance with Autumn before we left. She did get pretty big.
Going to the hospital doors.

Going inside. Do we look nervous.

Going in the elevator. Closer and closer.

At the front desk. This actually took quite a while and we felt like we were signing our livrs away.

Brittani scowling at her IV. That kinda hurt.

She is so darling. We love her so much!!!
First family picture.

First family portrait. Don't we look good.
Those red marks are from her grabbing her nose and face before we got the mittens on her little hands.
Look at that hair.

It is so easy to love this little girl.
Holding Autumn and waiting for food.
Daddy and daughter

Food... Ya!!! Brittani got a tray of tater tots and chicken strips with fry sauce and barbecue sauce to dip in. It was sure good. We only had to wait about an hour after delivery for it. This was our favorite meal at the hospital.

Look at those rolls on her legs and her big stomach. She likes to eat like her dad and it keeps her nice and fat and healthy.
Brittani's little princess. Don't we look good together?

Little fat Autumn and her cord clamp. She was even bigger looking when she came out because of swollen lips and nose but she has settled down and looks like a nice healthy little girl.

She is still a little swollen in this picture, but she does have a round head and fat cheeks. Super cute!

Big ol' cheeks...
doesn't it make you just want to pinch them.
Jonathan's hand compared to her legs and feet. For as big a baby as she is she is still a little baby.

Autumn's little toes. She likes to curl them up and then spread them out.
Bow... Yes it is a girl and she can be feminine even when she is so little she doesn't care.

There is nothing as happy as a mother with her new baby.

She is so precious. She already knows who her momy is.
Look at those fat cheeks. She has some mighty good looking puttums.

All cuddled up cute in her car seat for the first time. It is snowing outside at this point and windy so it was a good thing Grandma Thompson got the little car seat cover. She has her moose blanket from Lucy to keep her warm on her ride home.

Her first bath in the tub. The sponge worked real good to keep her from hitting the tub.

Here she is taking her first bath at home. She actually likes having her head washed with the little scrubber.
In her little bouncer. She is quite content with herself and the world around her.
Sticking out her little tongue. She likes to play with her tongue and push stuff out with it too. She has a pretty little hand there and she likes to grab her nose with it. She likes having her hands free to flale them around and then grab her face, so we often put mittens on her.

Grouse Mesa Outfiitters

Yay! Jonathan passed his outfitters test with a 93% and now we can get on to the fun stuff. This is an idea we had for the home page of his website he is working on. Do you like it? We are so excited to get the ball rolling on this business. We will put a link up as soon as Jonathan has his website finished.

Today we went to the Department of Fish and Game in Idaho Falls so Jonathan could take the Outfitter's Test for the state of New Mexico. We hope he did well and he can get his license soon. He is on his way to getting his career started :) Mighty Hunter yes?

Yellowstone Trip

Yellowstone!!!! SO, yesterday Jonathan and I took a whole day date and went to Yellowstone. We wanted to go before the baby comes. Here in this picture are some bison staying warm on some thermal grounds. We saw lots of bison, elk and coyotes. The geographical features we got to see were amazing too. Then we stopped in Canyon to get a hotdog because we were hungry. The cost?- $5.80 per hotdog!!! We should have just took some ketchup and mustard instead :) But I am glad we took Jonathan's truck because the roads were icy and pretty slick. We got stuck in traffic in Yellowstone for about 30 minutes because there was a wreck.

Jonathan looking mighty fine standing in front of some bison for a picture. And below, me looking like a pregnant elmer fud. But it was cold and the sweaters, coats, gloves and hat were needed!

This is the Lower Falls. It was so pretty. We saw lots of stuff like this but we can only put so many pictures on a blog.

The domestic bull elk we saw in Mammoth HotSprings. He was just laying there, looking pretty. The birds liked him too. Probably because he was warm and fuzzy.

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

For Jonathan's birthday, we made tacos. They were yummy and it seems in this picture that Jonathan is enoying the food :)

Temple

Jonathan, Katie and I went to the Rexburg Temple last week to do babtisms. It was good and the weather stayed nice enough for a picture.
