The Juice Diet...for the Juice Diet Lovers...

Ah...finally something that works! The next couple of posts reveal how the Juice Diet really works and it can work for you!!!!

The Before...

We had heard of the beloved Juice Diet and we decided we needed some BIG changes (can't you tell?) We were so unhappy and dwelled in our unshapely bathroom robes. We were scared to go outside, mostly cuz we couldn't fit through the doors.

The After...

Two Hours after consumption! (No Lie! We swear!) Best Results we have ever had!!!!!! No need for pills and raw eggs! Thank you Juice Diet!!!!

This Week

My children keep getting bigger. Autumn is a beauty and Hunter is my handsome boy. And this week, the hunting has begun for Grouse Mesa Outfitters. We all went up for a couple days. PJ and Charity have been great with the kids and the cooking. We are having great fun and it is only the first week. We have round up and four more weeks of hunting to look forward to.

Hunters Blessing

It was so good. It was a great blessing and Jonathan held him up so high just like Autumn.

Growing Up

My little boy just isn't so little any more. Hunter is in the 3-6 month clothes easy. Today at his 1 month check up he weighed 12 lbs! He gained 3 lbs in 3 weeks! He ranks the 95 percentile in his age group for weight and height. Not bad for a breastfed baby. His doctor was really impressed and we are so happy we are blessed with healthy children. Autumn is busy as ever and takes every chance she can get to go outside and hang out with daddy. She spent an hour scooping water out of a bowl with a sand shovel (yes they were clean with clean water) and drink it. She had like two whole bowls of water! It was pretty cute. Its funny how when kids come into the picture of life that they really take the spotlight on everything. Is it obsession? Why, yes I can be obsessed with my kids. That is my privilege as a mother. I always said Autumn was my heart, and since Hunter has come, I now find I have two hearts! I guess as the kids come I will just have to keep stuffing myself with hearts :)

I'm Dreaming...

...Of a white Christmas. I know it is barely September but I am already excited for the holidays. I am a holiday nut. I love Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. And what is more exciting than those holidays coming up is that my sister Charity and her husband PJ are coming down to spend some time with us. Charity always gets me excited for the holidays. We used to eat lickerish every christmas eve before we fell asleep. If only I could have my older sis Ashley too. Us three older girls...I just have so many memories with us growing up.
Is it strange to have a christmas list already? I really want some new cross country ski gear.
The San Luis Valley is flatter than a pancake (perfect for cross country skiing), and I remember cross country skiing up and down the road to my Grandpa Thompson's a lot. And I remember even that fateful day when I took my cross country skis down a hill(dumb), I proceeded to sit down and slide because the darn skis were not working right, and I slid right onto a rock and broke my tailbone. It is kinda funny now, especially since my dad video taped the whole thing. But now we have a field behind our house which is the perfect place for me to take a couple laps around ifn I were to ever get skis. It would be a great way to spend some me time this winter. I hope we get some snow this year.
And also, I am so excited to spend Christmas in my own home with my own family for the first time. We have kinda holiday hopped around to relatives the past three years, so this is a special year for me. I have so many plans and ideas to make my home a special place brimming with memories for my kids. I hope they are holiday freaks like me. And I must resist temptation to start listening to Nat King Cole's Christmas album.
I should enjoy the fall, Ah that wonderful time of year when a husband leaves you to go hunting for a week, wait...that is not enjoyable.
Lets start again...Ah, that wonderful time of year when the garden is ready for harvest, the pumpkins are getting bigger every day, the nights are getting colder so one needs a blanket (FINALLY!), and the leaves will soon change color, the cows start coming home, and its the season to start thinking about dusting off some hot chocolate mugs tucked away in the cupboard, a time to wear my beloved hunting camo even if I can't go hunting...Even though the fall is a hard and busy time, it is a favorite. Yes...yes...a special time for me.

Accomplishments

I was lucky enough to come by some green beans given to me the other day from my inlaw's garden down the road. So I was able to try my luck at canning. I only made 7 pints but they sure look good all nice and snug in my pantry. (What? We have to eat them?! I spent hours to get them how they are!!) And I made Autumn a dress! With many calls to my mom and lots of thought, I finally figured the pattern out. I must say that it is pretty darn cute. I am making myself a dress now and will start another one for Autumn. But I like the first dress pattern so much I will probably end up making her some more dresses for her to grow in to. It is too bad that sewing is an expensive hobby. It cost less to buy the same dress off the shelf. But oh well, I think I am addicted to sewing now. And its all my mom's fault!!!! :)
