Christmas Season. Busy busy busy

We have been busy people even since my last blog entry. Christmas partys, shopping trips and house preparation. The first picture of Jonathan and Hunter I just had to document since they both zone out whenever they watch a movie. Emmett is busy trying to get on Santa's naughty list. He is into everything! But he is cute and he knows it. Autumn and I went to a girls party at Grandma Bush's. It was fun and got spoiled! Foot baths and sparkling drinks! But my favorite part of this month so far has been our temple trip last saturday. The temple was packed with people from the valley. It took some work getting into my temple clothes but we did some sealings and it was wonderful! It was very relaxing and stress free. After temple and some lunch we were able to find a blessing dress for baby girl! After doing sealings for children in the temple and getting the dress for our baby girl, I am getting very excited for our new addition and can't wait to add to our eternal family.

30 Weeks

Here we go 30 week belly shot. I am so tired and nervous. I am so sick of traveling! It makes me swell so much and the stress of being away from my kids makes me very emotional. I took Autumn to the doctors for a check up the other day and the nurse asked me when I was due. I said February and she said "Oh thats soon!".....I had a panic attack and I have been a wreck because it IS soon! And I am not prepared! I am nesting like crazy but I am so tired and sore I haven't had much time to think about labor or birth or anything! I still can't even believe we will have four. I can tell my body never got the rest and break it needed from having Emmett. My left leg had torn muscles and nerves from the last pregnancy and I am pretty gimpy and limpy most days. I am grateful this baby is a winter baby, it keeps the swelling at bay but with all my traveling and stress I am retaining water like I did with Hunter. But I have faith that this little girl is meant to be in our family. It is my biggest comfort that she was and has always been meant to be. Emmett is still a baby but this little girl just couldn't wait to come be a part of this crazy household. I have to have faith that I can handle this and be the best I can be for these sweet spirits.

November and December pictures

Loads of pictures. I know. So here we go, updates on november and december. We got a van! I can't believe I have gone without one for so long! It is so easy to put my kids in and the power doors and hatch are amazing! We got a Christmas tree and finally got some presents under it. I would have to say its been tough getting into the christmas spirit. No snow. Too much traveling. And over all exhaustion. Jonathan, Rachael and I went to Las Vegas. It was really good but I missed the kids so much, and the walking was killer. We probably walked 4 to 5 miles every day. Jonathan is into his basketball season. I finally went to a game and took Hunter. He loved it! I can tell he wants to be like his dad and his favorite part of the night was when Jonathan helped him dribble the ball and score some hoops. Emmett is 14 months old and does whatever his brother and sister do. He is getting some back teeth now so he can get cranky. Autumn had her 5 year doctor check up. She did well and is way over the 100th percentile for height.

24 weeks

I feel like I am in a dream, I still can't seem to grasp that this little girl will be entering our lives sooner than later! Had another ultrasound today to take some more measurements and to reconfirm that she is indeed a she :) She seems to be healthy and happy in her environment and can prod and kick me for hours on end. I think she likes to remind me that she is part of the family. But as she grows I have been having terrible heartburn the last week and have had to cut my meals in half just to get through the night without tums. Oh and I have been nesting like crazy! Too soon you may be thinking but I can't help it! Everything and I mean everything must be organized!!! As soon as we got home from our washington trip I mega cleaned the fridge, purged my closet and room, redid Autumn's room and closet and washed every scrap of laundry in the house. I have been working on a new big "project" every day to get my house to where I want it.  Lets just say we have a long way to go and not enough time.

Of course we did take a couple day break, Emmett got chicken pox from his vaccine and was so grumpy and miserable poor little guy. He just wanted held. Then we had halloween in there somewhere and yesterday we sold calves in La Junta. Busy busy busy!!!

Mostly about this pregnancy and happenings for the last 3 months.

The last few months have been quite crazy. We found out in June we were unexpectedly expecting. I say that because, I was still breastfeeding Emmett and I never got a period between his birth and finding out I was pregnant. So TMI but there it is. It can happen and it did. Shocked but happy! Lets just say it was the worst morning sickness I have had ever. I had to carry a bowl around with me everywhere and I couldn't drive or leave my couch hardly. Thankfully Jonathan was able to help me with the kids. Bless his heart. Around 11 weeks I started bleeding and after a ER trip we confirmed a heartbeat. I bawled like a baby when I heard it. We found out at our 12 week scan that I had complete placenta pre via (placenta covering the cervix). But the baby looked great and all tests came back normal.
So I was put on bed rest for the pre via. Hardest thing ever. Since I was feeling better from morning sickness but was put back in bed. We have had so much selfless help from people. I cannot express how grateful I am to those who helped our family get through the hard parts of bed rest. Long story short, after months of sickness and worry we had our 20 week ultrasound today. The baby kicked the ultrasound wand so much the ultrasound tech was laughing. My placenta pre via has resolved itself and moved posterior. I know for a lot of people that doesn't mean much but thats good news for me since that means my back labor will not be so painful during birth. I had a anterior placenta with Hunter and by far his was the hardest as far as pain goes.
Anyways, we found out our baby is a girl!! We had our suspicions since I crave tomatoes and salad and morning sickness was so bad like it was with Autumn. But still after two boys in a row having a girl is new and exciting. Time to dig out the pink clothes! When we told Autumn she just about freaked out and said "woohoo!!!" for like 10 minutes. Hunter just shrugged his shoulders and went to play with Emmett his "brother" lol.....
In other news, Hunter is three as of July 31st. My big boy! He has grown so much and I can't believe how he keeps improving in his words and skills. Emmett turned one on the 2nd of October. Busy busy busy climbing and pointing and doing as big brother does. The hunting is under way for Jonathan. Thankfully september is over and this weekend I am headed to Washington to spend a couple weeks with family so its not so lonely without the husband. We miss him so much during the fall. He is so busy with the outfitting and cows. But we are going to have some fun few weeks and then we get to be together again.
This is an ultrasound picture when baby was 13 weeks. We thought it was amazing seeing every limb.

Beauty all Around

Finally an update with pictures, which has long been overdue. And yes I had to put a chicken picture up. Our addition to the house is mostly done now except some trim. And Jonathan did an amazing job, it is so beautiful! Speaking of beautiful, we had a lovely sunset the other night. It was amazing. The Lord really does paint some pretty pictures. It reminds me that he has a hand in everything. We have been blessed with water on our fields and much needed rain. Jonathan spotted some elk down the road and what are they standing in? Grass!!! The fields are looking green. And green is my favorite color.
Jonathan is busy with finishing fence in the mountains and will now be busy with projects around the house and doing some hay. It will be nice to see him every night for a while before the fall comes with all the hunting.
I am still working at Splash Land. It is an adjustment, I am so tired when I get home from work and I miss my kids so much some days. But it is a temporary thing so we will keep moving forward. I do enjoy meeting new people and watching kids enjoying the pool.

Autumn just got done with one session of swimming lessons and will be doing another session starting in a week. That girl is a fish. Seriously....half blond sprite and half fish :)

Hunter....oh the conversations we have now!! I am so glad his oral skills have caught up and we can communicate! Also, he is potty trained!! It took a week of rough ups and downs but he just loves his undies so much he "wikes to keep dem cwean....right mom?"

Emmett is a crazy crawler man now. He will head for the stairs any chance he gets. Walking along the couches and "helping" me load or unload the dishwasher.

So much in life is uncertain, but I do know this. I love my family. We have been blessed.

Spring 2014 updates

Obviously we have been busy as I havn't posted since Emmett was born. We are busy irrigating right now and making the most of the nice days when the wind doesn't blow.

Autumn- Is playing soccer. Half the time she just flutters around like a lost butterfly but it is cute and she is learning. She is my big helper still. We like to water our bulbs we planted together and soon it will be our garden. She talks our ears off most of the time too. This summer she will be doing some swimming lessons. She is quite the fish so I hope its comes easier to her than soccer hee hee.

Hunter-Thinks he is superman/hulk/batman. He is talking better now and has an actual vocabulary. I was worried he wouldn't speak at all but he is smart and is not being lazy about sounding out his words. He is half way potty trained and now that its warmer out and clean up is easier I bet (hope) he is potty trained by his 3rd birthday. He tags a long with daddy as much as he can.

Emmett- Is 7 months old. Where did the time go??? I am so sad my baby does not like to sit still anymore. He is army crawling. Eating solids. And he has moved out of our room and into big sisters. He has cut his two bottom teeth as well and he likes to bite :( ouch!

Myself-I have taken a job at Splash Land as a manager staring the end of May. I will be doing front desk, concessions, book keeping and life guarding. So it will be a busy summer. I am striving for little hours so I can be with my children as much as possible. Although it will be good for Jonathan to take them some more. I am looking forward to getting some me time and exercising in the water. I just hope I can be the mother and wife I need to be while holding a job.

Jonathan- Busy busy busy as always! Harrowing, irrigating, moving cows, tagging babies. I think we will all be happy when the cows go to the mountains. He has mountain fever. But his church meetings keep him on his toes. But he is working hard to make time for his family and we love him for his strength and endurance and keeping us all together.

The addition to the house is amazing! We love love love all the space! Jonathan has his own office which spares us all the phone talking he has to do. The mud room has by far been my favorite part of the addition. No more dirty boots in my kitchen. No more gloves. Drenching bags. Calf pills....All in the mudroom now and its amazing :)

Recently we also got chickens! We got over a dozen chicks. Then a month later got another 12. We only had two die. One had a slipped tendon and had to be culled and the other was a day old chick that we have no idea why it died. We kept the chicks inside til they were 4 weeks old (another amazing thing about our mudroom, we had room for our chicks to get their feathers) Jonathan built them an amazing coop and now I am obsessed with them. More like I just really like chickens right now. They are funny creatures. I hope the foxes do not find them.
Soon we are getting pigs. And we are also getting a new puppy. She will be our inside dog since we didn't have much luck with our german shorthair we had. It really will be a busy summer. Anyways, that is our updates. I will put up pictures next time I post.
