It's a Girl!!!

It is a girl!
This is Jonathans favorite ultrasound picture that we got. Sorry its a bit fuzzy but the CD they gave us didn't work so I had to take a picture with our camera. If you look carefully you can see our baby girl holding her ear. We think she is so cute with her little cheeks, nose and eyes. Right before the ultrasound, Jonathan was like "I am seeing only a girl." And he was right! We are happy that she is healthy and 21 weeks and 4 days old.
It was a good day to have the ultrasound, becuz yesterday was our first year anniversary! So many good things :)

Mount Borah

On Saturday Jonathan climbed Mt. Borah, the tallest mountain in Idaho (12,662' at the summit). The climb took about 5 hours up and 3 hours down. He had fun besides getting a little sunburned and sore. He got home late saturday night and was all tuckered out.

Our Events Yesterday

So yesterday Jonathan and I went up to a place called Kilgore so Jonathan could fix fence and check cows. He unloaded the horse from the trailer and put on a bridal that he made. We think it looks awsome expecially on this black horse. Anyways, I looked at the saddle longingly and said "I can't take it anymore Jonathan I am getting in that saddle!" Because of late we decided that riding a horse while I am pregnant isn't the best thing, I have really missed being in the saddle. So I got on for a couple of minutes and felt like I was on top of the world! I can't wait to recover from having our baby and to get back to riding horses and chasing cows.
Then Jonathan hopped on and in this picture he is showing off our new little border collie puppy. Her name is Dally and she sure is cute. But so is Jonathan in his floppy old hat :) On the way back to Rexburg, Dally fell out of the truck and we had to go back and get her. We are lucky she is okay, and she stayed with us in the cab the rest of the trip.
After we got back to Edstroms that afternoon we realized that the black horse was acting funny kicking its belly and walking strange. Jonathan said it acted like it had a twisted gut or something. Jonathan had a class to go to so for an hour and a half I got to lead the black horse around so he wouldn't lie down and die. We don't know what really would of happened to it but I got some good exercise and the horse looked way better after the first hour of walking. But it was funny, because now the horse walked just fine but I looked like a sunburned crippled pregnant mare! After that, Jonathan and I went and moved pipes out in the field. And poor Jonathan had to walk pretty slow while I wobbled to keep up with him. It was a good day though and Jonathan and I were content with the events. And it was also nice that later that night we went out to eat a good supper with Sam and Amy Parry and Matt and Jennifer.
