This weekend we went up to Horseshoe Lake by Yellowstone and went fishing! We packed up early in the morning on Saturday and headed off to the lake. We brought all our camping gear. But soon on arrival to the lake we discovered those darn skeeters were too much for us. So we decided against spending the night but we still fished. The night before we left Jonathan stayed up all night to make us a fish net so we could get them fish out of the water quicker. He did a really good job and the net worked great. All we caught were rainbow trout but we caught our limit of 6 and that was good enough for us.
We ate 3 of the trout yesterday and boy they were good!
It was such a nice sunny day except I got sunburned on my face and hands. The funny thing was I had a hair tie on my wrist and my sunburn around it left it super white. Ah well, I hope it fades.

Yummy. What did you use for bait?
Hey, we didn't know you had a blog. It looks good. We are wishing that we could find a secluded place to go camping, there are people everywhere over here, even in the "mountains" which are really just little hills with trees on them.
