Jonathan designed and built these hen boxes for a chicken coop at the Cook Farm where we work every now and then. With the help of Jonathan's brother Matt, they put the boxes together in no time. Now the chickens love them!

Jonathan has been working with our new percheron draft horses. This colt is only 8 months but is the size of a normal sized horse! Jonathan is halter breaking this little...big guy in this picture. These big ponies are usually gentle giants and docile, however I caught this rare moment on camera. We thought it was an awsome picture.

These are the horses that we went to get in North Dakota. We had planned to camp during the night so we didn't have to rent a hotel. While looking for a place to camp we came across a county road so we took it and ended up getting stuck in the mud at the bottom of a gully where the road was very narrow. It took us four hours of shoveling mud, cutting and hauling brush, and then laying the trailor matts down in the tracks for us to get out. We back the trailor up the hill and back about a mile till we found a spot we could turn around. It was a memorable experience.

January 19 2009, Jonathan and Brittani went to the stockshow in Denver Colorado with the Bush Familia. It was our 6th month anniversary of being married!!! We got a John Wayne picture to remember our occasion there. The rodeo was super cool. Our favorite part was the some trained border collies that had saddles on them with real monkeys strapped to the saddles herding some goats. We plan on going again next year.

This is our VERY FIRST home (besides the trailor in the mountains of New Mexico) settled in Rexburg Idaho whilst Jonathan finishes school at BYU-I. The place is small but very much to our liking. Notice: Brittani sewed a liner for the entertainment center. She is going to get more into sewing now that she has a sewing machine. And thank heavens for Jonathan who can fix the blasted thing. :) When we first got to our place at 9pm before new years eve we found that the temp was in the 30's! So we made a quick trip to Wal'mart to purchase a heater. We have been sleeping on the floor and will do so until Brittani can't take it anymore. We are just saving the time and energy and money of having to go get a bed. But we are happy with our new home. Soon we hope to get a regular schedule going. Brittani hopes to find work soon as Jonathan goes to school. Perhaps we will join the school bowling team and Jonathan for sure wants to do basketball and battleship again.
